The Yorkshire School in Sri Lanka rebuild

Batley Grammar School's Interact club have donated a cheque in the sum of £500.00p to the Yorkshire School appeal. The funds were raised through a series of events, which included throwing wet sponges at teachers. In a special assembly on Tuesday 26th June Interact president Fiona Hepworth and secretary Katheryn Paley was presented with a schools certificate for their kind donation, in attendance was Rtn Ian Fellows President of the Rotary Club of Batley to which the Interact Club is affiliated.

This donation will go a long way in Sri Lanka.
