Kings Mill School, Driffield

More and more schools are coming on board to help raise funds for the appeal.
Kings Mill School, Driffield - two students from the school last Wednesday night presented a cheque for £800.00p to the appeal chairman at the Driffield Rotary meeting, the school has also pledged to raise further monies and adopt the new school in Sri Lanka as their oversea's charity for the next three years.
Thank you to all staff and students for all your hard work and kind donation to the appeal.

 

Appeal Total

As at todays date the appeal total stands at £229,559.00p very well done to all who have been involved in fund raising.
To date 64 Rotary Clubs, 99 Schools, 21 Companies/Organisations & 25 Individuals have donated to the appeal.
Thank you to all Rotary Clubs who donated the balance of the Sri Lanka village monies to the school appeal.
A second payment has now been made to the school account at Standard Charter Bank in Columbo, Sri Lanka, the total now paid to the school account amounts to £80,000.00p.

 

Building Report

Report as at 31st March 2006
Work continues at a steady pace. The roof has now been completed on the Principal's Quarters and Toilet block.
The 3-storeyed school building is progressing with 80% of the column foundations completed
