Construction Payments

A total of £160,000.00p (four payments of £40,000.00p) have now been made to the Schools Re-awaken project through the Standard Charter Bank in Sri Lanka - for construction of the "Yorkshire School", this amounts to Rs29,691,976.00 in local monies.
A further payment of £40,000.00p will be made in November with the remainder of the appeal monies being forwarded in December.

All payments are based on the Tender Bill of Quantities/Drawings and backed up with upto date photographs.

This is the biggest appeal ever attempted by District 1040 and has been extremely sucessful, it has far exceeded all our expectations.
