The Yorkshire School in Sri Lanka rebuild

With only 3 days to go and our total over £175,000, but struggling, Father Christmas came to the rescue in the form of the Beecroft Charity Trust. We received a very positive response to our approach, the Trustees were very impressed with the project and we are delighted to have them as partners. With their assistance and other outstanding donations to be confirmed we have reached the target of £200,000 to ensure the school will be completed.
Work is progressing on the school and we have advised our Fellow Rotarians in Sri Lanka the good news. We will be thinking of them on Boxing Day, the Anniversary of the Tsunami
