The Yorkshire School in Sri Lanka rebuild

Nearly 200 Rotarians and Guests attended the Rotary District fundraing event last night at the Aakash Restaurant Cleakheaton. A really good time was had by all as we were treated to excellent and delicious curries. Colin Fingers Henry,international cabaret artiste and a Yorkshireman from Doncaster had everyone in stitches with his jokes and his piano playing was fantastic- even when standing on his head. The evening raised £2800 and particular thanks to HSBC who provided raffle prizes, sold tickets and then gave a donation of £500.
