Craven Business Awards
Friday 25th November saw the first Craven Business Awards in Skipton arranged by the local newspaper the Craven Herald. From each seat sold the paper donated £5 to the Yorkshire School, there was also an auction of a Holiday donated by Cottages 4 U (part of the Welcome Holiday Group) which raised £475.00p - A romantic night at the Rendezvous Hotel (including dinner, bed and breakfast) donated by the hotel raised £155.00p - A laser printer donated by Skipton Stationery raised £175.00p.
The overall sum raised on the night and donated to the "Yorkshire School in Sri Lanka" amounts to £1,825.00p.
